A comprehensive design-and-build programme delivering a two-storey rear/side extension and a full internal refurbishment. The scheme introduces generous open-plan living, luxury bathrooms, a dedicated loft cinema and a landscaped garden. Materials and details—render, graphite frames and warm timber cladding—create a refined, contemporary character while maximising natural light and everyday functionality.

Modern rear extension with full-height sliders and timber cladding

Exterior Architecture

The extension rebalances the home with clean lines, crisp render and graphite detailing. Full-height sliding doors open the ground floor to the terrace, while horizontal timber cladding adds warmth and texture against the pale facade. The envelope upgrades improve daylight, thermal performance and year-round usability.

Interior Upgrades

Internally, the plan shifts to a flexible open-plan core that links kitchen, dining and lounge areas. A concealed services raft integrates comfort cooling, MVHR and lighting. Finishes are calm and durable—porcelain floors, textured wall panels and bespoke joinery—to support family life without sacrificing elegance.

Luxury Bathrooms

The principal ensuite pairs dark marble walls with a floating vanity, sculpted basins and brushed-gold brassware. A secondary bathroom uses light stone tiles and a walk-in shower to keep the palette bright and airy. Niches, under-vanity lighting and wall-mounted fittings deliver a refined, hotel-grade feel.

Loft Cinema & AV

The loft becomes a dedicated cinema with acoustic panelling, integrated speakers and a star-light ceiling. Soft furnishings and controlled lighting create an immersive, comfortable space for family film nights and gaming.

Open-Plan Living

At ground level, the new social hub features a generous island kitchen, dining nook and lounge, all oriented to the garden. Large-format tiles and minimal thresholds enhance flow, while full-width glazing brings in light and views.

Garden & Approach

The rear terrace steps out from the sliders for easy entertaining. To the front, a welcoming entrance with timber cladding detail and modern gatework completes the home’s contemporary identity.
